A Bit of a Do on Madison Avenue

Needless to say we are rather excited about our new home at 667 Madison Avenue and as such could think of no better way to break in the boutique than with a bit if a do. From the guest appearances of Melanie Griffith and Emily Mortimer to Winston, our very own ‘Bulldog of Britain’ we brought a bit of British charm to the big apple.

Smythson Doormen in Hardy Amies
Winston the British Bulldog

In the spirit of all things British, canapes were a curious take on traditional British favourites such as: fish & chip taquitos and bangers & mash sliders and our good friend Fabrice Limon was back again to design some delicious cocktails; ‘The Macallan Highland Fix’ and ‘Portobello’s Big Apple Fizz’. Guest also sipped on Pol Roger champagne, the favourite tipple of Winston Churchill (who was himself a Smythson fan).
