The Strong Women Launch Party

On 27th April, we were thrilled to host the exclusive opening of ‘Strong Women’ by British photographer Alistair Guy. Surrounded by beautiful black and white portraits in our New Bond Street Boutique, guests were invited to preview the pop-up exhibition. The never before seen works include photographs of Hollywood icons Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith alongside music veteran Brix Smith-Start. Representing the world of fashion were the celebrated Daphne Selfe, Daphne Guinness and Elizabeth Von Guttman.

Alongside Alistair Guy, many of the muses themselves were in attendance at the event from Savannah Miller and Jan De Villeneuve to Greta Bellamacina and Amy Manson.

In keeping with the ‘Strong Women’ theme, the menu was produced by renowned British chef Sophie Michell. Guests gobbled down delicious canapés such as parmesan baskets, pea & truffle tartlets, Dexter beef carpaccio on English new potatoes, salmon tartare with lemon cream fraiche, potted shrimp served on melba toast and Sophie’s awarding winning chicken crackling with liver parfait and cider jelly.

And since no soiree is complete without a bit of bubbly, champagne was kindly provided by Veuve Clicquot.
